The MTN mPulse Spelling Bee is back, and this year, it’s bigger, and better than ever! With over ₦40 million in prizes up for grabs and a new regional format that takes the competition nationwide, here are five reasons why your child shouldn’t miss out:

For the first time, MTN is hosting physical regional competitions to ensure that students from all six geopolitical zones are equally represented. Regional competitions will take place in Ibadan (South West), Enugu (South East and South South), and Abuja (North Central, North East, and North West). This means more opportunities for young talents from across Nigeria to shine.
2. The Prizes Are Life-Changing
The 2025 mPulse Spelling Bee is offering a prize pool worth over ₦40 million. The overall winner will become MTN’s CEO for a Day, walk away with a ₦5 million education grant, a laptop, a smartphone, and the title of mPulse Face of the Year. Their teacher will receive ₦500,000, and their school will be given a ₦10 million flagship project, along with 10 laptops and 10 MTN 5G routers.
