African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) founder, Ms Peace Anyiam-Osigwe is not happy with Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State. Those close to her said since Gov. Dickson took charge of Bayelsa State he has not shown keen interest in supporting AMAA Awards.
Also, the AMAA boss complained recently that Bayelsa State as the host state of AMAA Awards has not paid its dues to AMAA for years. Insiders said this was why AMAA Awards organizers moved this year edition to South Africa.
We gathered that later, former Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha and former President Goodluck Jonathan supported AMAA Awards when they were governors of Bayelsa State. But Gov. Dickson seems to have shifted his support to most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Pageant.
