Popular Nollywood actress, Peggy Ovire is at the center of swirling rumours concerning the state of her marriage to fellow actor, Frederick Leonard.
Speculations of a crisis in their relationship first began in late 2024, when Ovire shared a solo Christmas photo dressed in pajamas, notably without her husband.
Fueling the rumours further, Ovire recently posted a video of herself preparing to attend a wedding ceremony on a Saturday.
The actress looked elegant but once again, her wedding ring was conspicuously missing.
She captioned the video: “Wedding guest. Transition 101.”
The absence of her ring didn’t go unnoticed. An Instagram user, @HoldMart, commented on the video, asking pointedly; “Where is the ring??”
This development has intensified public speculation that the celebrity couple’s marriage may have hit a rough patch or possibly ended.
Despite the growing alleged marriage crisis, Ovire has yet to address the rumours.
However, in a cryptic Instagram post on Wednesday evening, she wrote; “No matter what room I step in, I’m coming in as ME.”
