Music executive and Made Men Music Group boss, Ubi Franklin, has been accused of stealing a luxury wristwatch during Davido’s lavish wedding in Miami, United States, an allegation that has since gone viral on social media.
Responding to the claims, popular singer and Kukere hitmaker, Iyanya, came to Franklin’s defense, describing the allegation as false and malicious.
In a post shared via his official X handle (formerly Twitter), Iyanya dismissed the rumour as the handiwork of Ubi Franklin’s detractors, particularly those uncomfortable with his closeness to Davido.
He wrote; “This is a big lie. The jeweler has come out to deny this. It was a gist fabricated to tarnish Ubi’s name by those who don’t like him within that circle. I will not let my brother be dragged for nothing.”
