Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afod, has lambasted Ondo Sate Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa over the poor state of amenities in Ose Local Government Area.
The actor highlighted the deteriorating condition of hospitals, roads, schools, and other essential infrastructure in the area. Taking to social media, Afod expressed his frustration, insisting he would not remain silent on the issue.
He said: “Governor Aiyedatiwa, do you think I will keep quiet while you ignore my plea for Ose Local Government? No, I will not remain silent. I am once again calling on the Chairman of Ose Local Government, Hon. CK Ojo let us watch this video together. This is CAC Nursery and Primary School in Idoani, and here is another school within the same local government area.
“All the teachers have left, and children in these communities are no longer attending school. There are no accessible roads connecting these communities, yet you continue to manage the state’s resources without addressing these urgent needs.
“The healthcare system is in a deplorable state. All the general hospitals in Idoani have been shut down, and there is no longer any commercial bank in the area. Governor Aiyedatiwa, I urge you to engage the Local Government Chairman, members of the House of Representatives, the State House of Assembly, and the Senator representing this constituency to find lasting solutions. How long will Ose Local Government continue to suffer like this?” he asked.
