Popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, is left heartbroken after losing ₦5 million on betting. The actress revealed that she lost the money after placing a bet on the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
The actress shared her disappointment on her Instagram story on Monday, admitting that the experience has discouraged her from betting again.
“First time betting and I lost. Will never try it again. My 5M gone. In fact, I’m done watching football. Anxiety almost killed me,” she wrote.
Before the game kicked off, Destiny had shown her support for Argentina, writing: “Argentina all the way. Who can’t wait?”
However, as the match progressed, the actress appeared to grow frustrated, sharing her reactions with her followers.
“This ball tough o. Argentina is pissing me off,” she wrote, adding: “The goalkeeper is the saviour oo.”
