Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu, has congratulated the Obi of Owa Kingdom, Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, on the occasion of his 88th birth anniversary, describing the revered monarch as a symbol of wisdom, peace and exemplary leadership.
Aniagwu, in a congratulatory message, praised the monarch for his decades of impactful traditional leadership, noting that the Obi’s reign has been marked by remarkable contributions to the unity, development and cultural preservation of Owa Kingdom and the wider Anioma nation.
He said the respected traditional ruler has continued to provide guidance and moral leadership not only to his people but also to government and stakeholders across Delta State.
According to him, the Obi of Owa has distinguished himself as a custodian of tradition and a voice of moderation whose counsel has helped sustain peace and progress in his domain.
Aniagwu stated that attaining the age of 88 in good health and strength is a testament to God’s grace and the monarch’s disciplined life devoted to service, leadership and community development.
He noted that the long and eventful reign of the monarch has brought honour and prestige to Owa Kingdom, adding that the people of the community remain proud of his enduring legacy of wisdom and fatherly guidance.
The commissioner further commended the monarch for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of education, cultural values and peaceful coexistence among his subjects and neighbouring communities.
He prayed that God would continue to bless the royal father with good health, strength and many more years on the throne as he continues to guide his people with wisdom and dignity.
Aniagwu also wished the monarch a joyful celebration, noting that his life and reign remain a source of pride and inspiration to the people of Delta State.
