Saturday, May 11th, 2019 will not be forgotten in a hurry by the children of the Heritage Orphanage Homes at 45 Faramobi Ajike Street, Anthony-Maryland, Lagos as Nollywood actress, Jane Thomas Rogers, popularly known as JT Rogers lavished them with love in commemoration of her birthday.
The event which was planned to be low key turned out to be a beehive of celebrities as myriad of showbiz stars such as; Halima Abubakar, King Wadada, Amb. Cornell Udofia, Akan Achibong, Steve Akpos, Chief Louis Osojie, Queen ABG, Soja Boy, Gentle Prince, etc. all turned out to celebrate with their very own as they spent quality time playing with the children of the Heritage Orphanage Homes.
The highpoint of the occasion was the amazing music performance of reggae maestro, King Wadada, as well as Queen ABG, Soja Boy and Gentle Prince.
The event took another turn when movie director, Akan Achibong publicly announced to voluntarily shoot the video of young rising artiste; Soja Boy. Achibong who was thrilled by the amazing performance of the singer also promised to promote the project on Sound City, HipTv and the likes.
It is worthy of note that JT Rogers’ birthday was not only a blessing to the orphans and the less privileged but also a remarkable day for the young talent, Soja Boy as the occasion has paved way for his music career.
However, excited Jane in her remarks said; “I return all the glory to the Almighty, the giver of life who made this possible. My appreciation specially goes to Ambassador Cornell Udofia for adding glamour to the event as he personally anchored the event to honour me.”
“My sincerely gratitude also goes to King Wadada who personally came to celebrate with me. I also want to thank musical Taliban, Oritsefemi who hosted us at his Lekki Phase 1 mansion prior to the party and my younger sister, Juliet Maigamu who flew all the way from Abuja and to every one present and those who equally volunteered to support the vision.”
The event finally came to an end as the celebrant cuts the birthday cake and presented gifts such as bag of rice, cartons of Indomie, toiletries to the orphanage home.
