A former House of Assembly aspirant in Anambra state, Hon. T. T Okoli has declared that no amount of blackmail and disinformation and misinformation would stop Governor Chukwuma Soludo from emerging victorious in the November governorship election in the state.
In a press release, Okoli who is also a business mogul described as cheap blackmail the circulation by the opposition, of an old video of former People Democratic Party, PDP Chairman in Anambra Ken Emeakayai and now Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Security where he had criticised Soludo.
“That is a cheap blackmail. One million of such videos will not stop our governor’s re-election, Anambrarians know who they want and that person is Governor Soludo. Please note that the video in circulation is an old video. It is not recent video.That video was when Chief Emeakayi was actively in the opposition; he has now keyed into His Excellency, Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s beautiful vision for Ndi Anambra; he is now helping to pull the state from the doldrums of insecurity in line with the Governor’s vision of a secure, peaceful and prosperous Anambra and he is doing a wonderful job”, Hon. Okoli said.
Continuing, Hon. Okoli who had aspired to represent Ihiala 2 constituency, Ihiala local government area, in the Anambra state House of Assembly on the platform of the PDP stressed that Governor Soludo enjoys massive, organic support from Ndi Anambra hence his re-election is fait accompli.
“Who are the so called opponents of His Excellency? You are talking of perennial election contestants and serial election losers. The truth is that our dear Governor has no opponents in the November election. His victory, his re- election are already foregone conclusion. Those jesters are wasting their time and resources”, he added.
