At the Special Charity Sunday Service held at the International Headquarters of Grace Nation Worldwide, Ojodu-Berger, Lagos, tears of joy flowed freely as hundreds of members received support through financial grants, business empowerment, accommodation assistance and relief materials.
It was practical Christianity at its finest, as widows, orphans, students, artisans and less-privileged families benefited from the generosity of the Chris Okafor Humanity Foundation.
Over the years, the Foundation has continued to identify hidden talents among young people, draw them closer to God, and empower them to become self-reliant and productive members of society.
The Mystery Of Mercy And Prayer In The Holy Ghost
Delivering his sermon during the service, the Generational Prophet of God unveiled deep spiritual insights on the power of mercy and prayer in the Holy Ghost.
Speaking on the human spirit, Dr. Chris Okafor said: “It takes mercy to demystify misery. When mercy speaks, misery disappears. A man may be qualified, connected and talented, but without mercy, he may still struggle. May mercy speak for you today.”
On the power of praying in the Spirit, the Man of God declared: “The most effective prayer is praying in the Holy Ghost. When you pray in the Holy Ghost, you are praying beyond human intelligence; you are praying according to the perfect will of God. Holy Ghost prayer provokes speedy answers.”
The congregation subsequently erupted in intense prayers in the Holy Ghost as the atmosphere became charged with fervent worship and prayer.
