Popular Nigerian comedian, Benneth Chinedu Daniel, widely known by his stage name Acapella, has raised an alarm over threats to his life.
The comedian disclosed that he has received multiple threats following his criticism of the Lagos State Government.
Acapella made this revelation via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
He wrote; “Over The Past days, As expected, I’ve received several DMs and Few Calls making empty treats here and there. But, let me make it clear, that No Nigerian Is More Nigerian Than Any Other Nigerian.”
“Don’t let anybody gaslight you into believing you are de marketing the country; especially when you point out the ills that befalls us as a Nation.”
“The first step to solving any problem is to first identify there’s one. We are all we have. I hope with these few points of mine. I rest my case for now.”
