Popular comedian and TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, professionally known as Peller, narrowly escaped death following a car accident involving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz.
The incident occurred on Sunday along the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos while Peller was livestreaming on Instagram. In videos circulating on social media, the comedian appeared visibly distressed and emotional as he drove alone.
During the livestream, Peller was seen crying and expressing fear, making alarming statements that suggested emotional distress. Moments later, the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a barrier, causing significant damage to the luxury car.
Bystanders quickly rushed to his aid, and he was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. According to reports, Peller is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
