Davido’s Isreal Begs Muslims Over Controversial Music Video

Nigerian music star, Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel Afeare a.k.a Israel DMW, has gone on his bended knees to beg the Muslim community over the controversial music video his ‘Oga’ shared on social media.

Isreal, taken to his Instagram page, wrote; “Let me specially apologise to my Muslims brothers and sisters, on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody, which is one of his hubbies.”

“It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all.”

Recall that Davido came under heavy criticisms after sharing a music video of his signee, Logos Olori’s new song ‘Jaye Lo’ where people were seen praying in Islamic way and dancing.

However, the singer had deleted the controversial video on his social media pages.

Interestingly, the Muslim community are demanding for a public apology from him (Davido).

Besides, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to invite Davido and his artist, Olamilekan Taiwo a.k.a Logos Olori for interrogation over the music video.

MURIC in a statement by its founder cum Executive Director, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, said; “We alert men of the DSS to invite both men for questioning to explain why they chose to produce and promote a musical video capable of igniting anarchy in Nigeria.”

“In the same vein, we invite the National Broadcasting Corporation, NBC, and the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, to immediately ban the insensitive musical video captioned ‘Jaye Lo’ by Logos Olori.’”

“They must spring to action from the moment attention is drawn to an infraction capable of causing a breach of the peace, so long as the authors of the infringement have been identified and whether or not the information contained an appeal to the monitoring agency or agencies.”

“The agencies are, essentially, an integral part of the general public. They should therefore act without being prompted.”
