Sunday, December 7th, 2025, was a day to remember for Nigerian worship and praise enthusiasts as Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan, better known as Dr. Ajokesings, united leading gospel artistes under one roof for a night of spirit-lifting music, tagged; Symphony of Praise and Worship (SPAW) Concert.
The atmosphere at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, was charged with excitement as fans, friends, and dignitaries trooped in for what would become a night of unforgettable praise in commemoration of Dr. Ajokesings’ 45th birthday, making it even more special.
Adding star power to the evening was the presence of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his wife, Dr. Adejoke Sanwo-Olu, who joined other notable guests to honour the convener.
As expected, the lineup of gospel artistes did not disappoint. Bata Girl, Limoblaze, Pelumi Deborah, AEO, Bee Jay Sax, Eno Michael, Hope Activate, Emma OMG, Lilian Nneji, and the host herself, Dr. Ajokesings, took turns setting the hall on fire with powerful ministrations. The crowd erupted when Dr. Ajokesings performed her hit, “Osubare,” prompting a wave of cheers and standing ovations.
During her heartfelt address, Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan expressed deep gratitude to God and everyone who supported the vision.
She said; “I thank God Almighty for making today possible,” she said. “My gratitude goes to all our guests for standing by me throughout this program. Hosting this Symphony of Praise and Worship is a privilege I truly cherish.”
She also acknowledged the consistent encouragement from Governor Sanwo-Olu and his wife, recalling their support since her UK concert and through the early years of Osubare.
Appreciation also went to the Adebutu family and AIG Zone 2, Adegoke Fayoade, for their presence.
Dr. Ajokesings, however, encouraged guests to stay thankful despite the nation’s challenges, expressing faith that the night’s worship would usher in “testimonies and great miracles” from this day forward.
With the energy and impact of 2025 SPAW Concert, fans are already eager for what comes next.
