Ogun State APC gubernatorial candidate, Honourable (Dr.) Kayode Amusan, has pledged his support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid. He made the announcement while addressing his supporters and party faithful in Abeokuta, Ogun State, over the weekend.
“His political experience, his unprecedented humanitarian life, his style of administration and governance with the assurance of purposeful life for all and sundry which he exhibited when he was a member of the House of Representative in Abuja is part of the reason we the good people of Ogun state have come together to support Sobaloju of Egba land to become the governor of the state come 2027,” this were the words of Chief Adewuyi as he speaks with our correspondent in Abeokuta on Tuesday.

Representative in 2003 – 2007 representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency and based on the satisfactory record of performance in the Legislature, he was returned unopposed in 2007 – 2011 while he was Chairman of various Committees and Sub-Committees.
One-time Ogun Central Senatorial Aspirant in 2007 and Two times Ogun State Gubernatorial Aspirant in 2011 and 2015.
As a seasoned and experience politician with vast connections within and outside Nigeria,
he has started his consultation with leaders and all the stakeholders of the party with great determination and hope of winning the race to the Ogun State government house.
A great philanthropist and a business mogul, Dr Amusan holds PhD in business administration (Honorary). He is happily married with children.
