Celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, based on his experience, has advised Nigerians to stop running from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) when the agency comes knocking.
According to the famous socialite, the EFCC do not bite nor beat their suspects, adding that the anti-graft agency only investigate and prosecute.
Cubana Chief Priest disclosed this on his Instagram page.
He wrote: “The Eagle will always fly so high to catch you wherever you hide.”
“No need to run when @officialefcc invites you, just pull up and answer them, they don’t bite, they don’t beat, they only investigate and prosecute. For their cell, toilet & bathroom dey, even breakfast, lunch & dinner is served so tell me why are you running.”
For those who don’t know, Cubana Chief Priest was arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos by the EFCC recently on a three-count charge bordering on abuse of the Naira.
He was, however, granted bail for N10 million with two sureties in like sum after pleading not guilty.
