Renowned Nigerian evangelist and spiritual leader, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has passed away. The revered founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association died on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.
The news of his passing was officially announced by his family in a statement released on Monday, October 13, 2025, titled “Glorious Transition.”
It reads; “Glorious Transition. With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the triumphant homegoing of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, who passed on to glory on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80. A faithful soldier of the cross has been called to rest.”
