Grace Nation International, also known as Liberation City, has marked its 22nd anniversary, celebrating over two decades of spiritual growth, impact, and transformation. What began 22 years ago in a modest primary school premises has grown into a global Christian movement with more than 80 branches worldwide.
Today, Grace Nation is widely regarded by its members as a ground of liberation and restoration a place of hope for the hopeless and a centre for soul-winning into the Kingdom of God.
The international headquarters of Grace Nation Worldwide is located on Oshofisan Street, by Ereke Bus Stop, Ojodu Berger, Lagos, Nigeria.
Reflecting on the church’s journey, the Generational Prophet and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Worldwide, Dr Chris Okafor, described the last 22 years as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, protection, provision, and unfailing covenant.
According to him, despite numerous challenges, allegations, and counter-allegations over the years, the hand of God upon the church has remained evident. He noted that rather than weaken the ministry, every attack has resulted in greater blessings and growth for Grace Nation and its members.
Dr Okafor expressed deep appreciation to members of the church for their steadfastness and loyalty, despite criticism and opposition. He stressed that while circumstances may sometimes appear negative, God’s love and covenant with Grace Nation remain unquestionable.
“When we face challenges, it only provokes God to bless us more,” the cleric remarked, adding that God has consistently kept His promises to the commission.
Earlier, in a sermon titled “Breaking Into the Overflow Through Your Prophet,” Dr Okafor taught that believers must understand and fulfil scriptural principles to access their next level of divine overflow. He emphasised the importance of recognising the role of a God-ordained prophet in the fulfilment of God’s plans in one’s life.
According to him, obedience to divine instructions and prophetic guidance accelerates the manifestation of God’s promises. He warned that enemies often attempt to distract believers by turning them against their prophets in order to hinder their inheritance, but victory comes through discernment and obedience.
The anniversary celebration climaxed with a special thanksgiving procession, as pastors, leaders, heads of units, various groups, and church members danced to the altar in gratitude for God’s protection and provision throughout the year 2025.
Grace Nation International officially marks 22 years of existence, with church leaders declaring that no force seen or unseen can stop the covenant of God upon the commission.
