Popular Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma has sparked reactions online with his recent comments on divorce.
According to Bovi, he often feels happy when people end their marriages, explaining that it could mean one or both partners were unhappy or struggling in the relationship.
The comedian, who revealed that he got married at the age of 29, made the controversial remark during a recent interview, where he shared his views on marriage and divorce.
He said; “I celebrate when people get divorced because I feel it means one or two people were not breathing well inside that space. I will not suffer anybody, neither will I want anybody to suffer me.”
“That’s not to say my marriage has been easy for 17 years. It has not. That’s a long time. I got married at 29 and have been the sole provider”
