The bitter political war between the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike and former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has taken another dimension.
Amid the drama and tension, Amaechi has resolved he would not join issues with Wike whom he reportedly described as a “child”.
Speaking, in an interview recently, Amaechi stated that he made Wike his Chief of Staff during his tenure as Rivers State governor.
Hear him; “I made Nyesom Wike my Chief of Staff during my time as Governor of Rivers State. I wanted him as Chief of Staff so I could supervise him.”
“Adoke flew all the way from Abuja to Port Harcourt that Wike asked me to make him the Commissioner for Finance and I said no, he has to work under me so that I can supervise him.”
“I’m saying this because I don’t want to join issues with children.”
“You know, he made himself chief of staff. He made himself governor. He made himself a minister. He made himself local government chairman.”
