The bitter war between popular Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph and hype man, MC Fish has taken another dramatic turn following their separation in 2025.
The estranged couple have continued to trade words publicly since their marriage ended. Anita had previously claimed that she was the one who financially supported her husband during their marriage.
MC Fish, however, countered the claim, alleging that the actress put him in serious debt in an attempt to maintain her lifestyle.
In a recent development, MC Fish, in a series of posts on Instagram, opened up about his failed marriage and made several allegations against his estranged wife.
He wrote: “Let me school you guys a bit on this ‘she fed him’ narrative. Firstly, I never wanted to do this because in life, when you do good or when you do something for someone, it is always bad to start talking about it. But enough is enough. Recall that this has been over a year since my separation, and let me just state a few things.
“You claimed to the public that you fed me when all we did was use my hard-earned money and take loans to add to that just to keep up a fake lifestyle. More than a year after, you can’t even seem to get yourself a proper house and a car to keep you and your family, which was never the case under my care.
“You claimed to have taken me on trips that I clearly bought tickets for and used my money to fund. You might act like a saint to everybody, but we all know the truth that you are a very self-centred person. Trips that we used my connections and acquaintances to have a swell time.
“My surname, OLAGUNJU, the CEO of the property company had three names on the list for an ambassadorial deal, and my surname stood out. Why? Because the CEO bought a car from my dad when he was relocating to Canada back then in 2015. I took loans and entered all sorts of agreements just to keep up a fake life you were desperately trying to live.
“That same Dubai trip you’re paying blogs to talk about, it was because of me that we never paid a dime for food throughout the one month we stayed in that city. What of my friend that I knew from the nightlife scene who showered us with gifts that I still gave you large portions of? Since you guys really want to know what I did in that nightmare of a marriage.
“The times I stepped up and became your manager, literally going with you everywhere and abandoning my career for a bit to help you get to greater heights. I never asked for anything. When the property deal came through, I was there behind you, and all I got for that was nothing in return. Did I flinch? No. And you know the main reasons why you got that deal was because of me.
“You spread propaganda about your friends and people who confide in you in the dark, yet you will come out to claim to be holier than thou. So please use all the money you have right now to set up your life well for you and your family and leave a fight that God is already aware of. Come to think of it, even after I left you, you couldn’t even keep up with a car loan I was paying with ease, hence the propaganda.
“Let’s be factual, no woman will stick with a man for more than five years up to the extent of marriage if she has not seen signs of stability. WOMEN DON’T MARRY OUT OF PITY!! Only men do. Chai, remember when a philanthropist wanted to give your very close friend a car? He picked the SUV he wanted for this person, only for you to claim that the car was too big for her and that he should get a smaller one. All because of ego.
“You can’t be claiming that you’re glowing when it’s pictures of how you were looking from two years ago and above, wearing the same wedding ring that reminds you of the storm. I have moved apartments twice within the space of 18 months, cleared debt and am still clearing.
“The house in Chevron that we rented in my name and worked so hard to maintain, you couldn’t even hold it down, which led to them booting you out of the house. And your next move was to move into a tattoo artist’s house with your kids and sisters with my furniture, claiming to have been feeding me in a marriage.
“In 2018, when I met you, I was on a trajectory and found myself in something I never expected coming. I was alienated because of this, sidelined, embarrassed and ridiculed because I wasn’t openly dating you. The insults became worse when I was married to you, and while going through all of this, I was working hard like a goat to make life easy. And because you’re pained, you decide to spread rumours about my financial achievements?
“And this same reason is why I thank God to have been freed from all that madness. The need to desperately appear cool when it’s obvious you need serious help. Ego and pride are a very bad thing. Remember I told you it was because of all those waist trainers you are wearing that you lost my child.
“And remember, I have screenshots and tapped recordings of all your dealings with that certain man of God. So keep on paying blogs and using a collection of bitter women in this social space to spread many lies about me. Na here we dey.”
