Nigerian music star, Davido (David Adeleke), surprised many people after a video showed him asking his wife, Chioma Adeleke, to send $4,000 (about ₦5.5 million) to his personal assistant, Lati.
In the viral video, Davido called Chioma and told her he could not access his account. He asked her to transfer the money to Lati before they flew back to Nigeria.
He said: “Hello, baby. Good morning, my wife, my love. Please help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t log in, I don’t know why. We’re taking off now to Nigeria. I love you.”
Later, during a live stream, the handler of Davido’s official streaming page, Davreltv, asked if Chioma now manages his money.
Davido replied: “Of course. I’m a reckless spender, so she handles everything. She’s the one that keeps my life organized.”
