The did is finally done as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has eventually picked his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
Contrary to several reports that the former Vice President has picked Governor Nyesom Wike of Bayelsa State as his running mate, Atiku, on Thursday revealed that he is not afraid to take decisions as he unveiled Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
This, we can tell you for free has finally put to rest on the quest for who will be the PDP presidential candidate’s running mate for the 2023 election.
Be that as it may, Atiku, speaking at the unveiling of Okowa at the PDP Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, June 16th, 2022, said; “My running mate must be able to speak his mind freely.”
“Okowa must be ready to work with me at all times. The decision of my running mate was a difficult one, but I’m not afraid to take such decisions.”
