Nollywood star actor, Ibrahim Chatta has revealed to everyone that cares to know that he is not interested in the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA).
This comes following speculations that he was snubbed by the organisers of the award at the award ceremony held in Lagos recently.
However, when asked recently by an interviewer to pray to win the AMVCA, Chatta responded by saying;
“I can’t pray for something I am not interested in. Whenever I am interested to go for AMVCA, I will make a film and submit that film.”
“So that I can be rated, so that they can check if I deserve the award or not. But I have not given them any film to nominate me from.”
For those who don’t know, Ibrahim Chatta was nominated for Best Lead Actor for his role in House of GAA. But he lost the award to fellow actor, Femi Adebayo, who starred in Seven Doors.
