Amid the ongoing marital crisis involving popular Nollywood actor, Akin Olaiya, his estranged wife, Nafisat, has finally shared her side of the story.
This comes after the actor confirmed that they had separated in a statement released on June 22, 2026. He claimed that Nafisat left their home on her own and that all efforts to bring her back were unsuccessful.
Reacting in a video shared on social media, Nafisat alleged that after everything she went through in the marriage, Akin ended up marrying her best friend.
She said; “Can you imagine that after all the pain, mistreatment, and everything I went through, my husband ended up marrying my own best friend?”
She added; “People don’t know my side of the story because I’m not the type to come online and talk about my private life. That’s not how I was raised.”
For those who may not know, Akin Olaiya married Nafisat in July 2025 after his first marriage ended in divorce.
