Members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, have congratulated the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Christian Aburime, on his recent conferment with the Award of National Excellence in Strategic Communication and Public Service.
The prestigious honour was presented to him at the 10th National Leadership Integrity and Development Summit and Awards 2026, held in Abuja.
In a congratulatory letter signed by the Chairman, Chief Chuks Ilozue, and the Secretary, Lucy Osuizigbo-Okechukwu, the chapel described the recognition as a testament to Aburime’s professionalism, steadfast dedication to effective public communication, and stellar service under the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The union noted that the achievement is a profound source of pride for both Anambra State and the wider journalism community.
“Your achievement is a source of pride to Anambra State and the journalism community. We particularly appreciate the professional relationship between your office and our members in promoting credible information and responsible journalism,” the letter stated.
The Correspondents’ Chapel celebrated the milestone while wishing the Chief Press Secretary greater accomplishments in his continued service to the state and the nation at large.
