Nigerians have taken to social media to vent their frustration over the deepening hardship in the country, as dwindling electricity supply forces many to turn to costly solar installations, all while grappling with rising fuel prices.
Adding his voice to the growing outcry, popular singer, Darey, (Oluwadamilare Babatunde Art Alade) did not hold back, delivering a blunt and thought-provoking take on the situation.
The music star lamented that rather than fixing the nation’s challenges, many people are now focused on making enough money to shield themselves from the harsh realities.
Taking to his Instagram story, he wrote; “Nobody is trying to fix the problems we have in this country. Everyone is trying to make enough money so the problems no longer apply to them.”
