Pretty Mike In Hot Soup, Risks Losing Niteclub Over Drug Allegation

Popular Lagos socialite Pretty Mike’s troubles with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over alleged drug offences have deepened.

The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of a property belonging to him, following allegations that it was used for drug storage and distribution.

Justice Musa Kakaki issued the order after hearing an ex parte motion by NDLEA counsel, Buhari Abdulahi. The property, located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, and operating as Proxy Lagos Night Club, was allegedly used to store 169 cylinders (384.662 kg) of nitrous oxide and 200 grams of cannabis sativa.

The NDLEA claimed the owners planned a “large-scale drug party” at the venue. Acting on intelligence, operatives raided the club on October 26, 2025, arresting over 200 people and seizing the substances, later confirmed to be controlled drugs.

Justice Kakaki granted the agency’s request, declaring the nightclub an “instrumentality of crime” and ordering its temporary forfeiture to the Federal Government. All activities at the club are suspended pending investigation.

The case was adjourned to January 28, 2026, for further hearing.
