Nigerian famous rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips is very angry with his colleague, Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid over his comment about rap music.
For those who don’t know, Wizkid in a recent interview with an international magazine noted that rap music is boring and dead.
Wizkid said; “Afrobeats is the new pop. I sold two million copies in America off of one song! Even some American artists don’t have a diamond record. If I’m being honest, I don’t listen to any other genre of music anymore.”
“I don’t listen to rap – that shot is boring to me. It’s d£ad now, it’s tired. These guys do the same shot, rap on the same beats and the same flows.”
However, in a swift reaction, Oladips in a rap song he made, took the Afrobeat star to the cleaners.
