The internet has been buzzing following the marital crisis between popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels and billionaire businessman, turned politician, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The drama unfolded after a viral video surfaced over the weekend in which Regina Daniels accused her husband of domestic violence.
In the clip, the actress can be heard shouting at the top of her voice, saying she is “tired of the violence” in the lawmaker’s home.
The video has since dominated social media conversations, drawing millions of reactions from Nigerians.
However, responding to the allegations, Senator Ned Nwoko claimed that Regina is the violent one, denying any involvement in domestic abuse.
He said; “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
“The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, especially Jordan, where she will not have access to drugs.”
