Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has cried out to Nigerians over an alleged assault by officers of the Nigerian Police Force.
Reports indicate that the singer was arrested by the police following a dispute with his baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple.
According to information gathered, Portable was arrested on Saturday after allegedly evading arrest for about a week.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the singer in handcuffs, visibly distressed, and alleging that he was tortured while in police custody.
It was further gathered that Portable reportedly escaped arrest last week after his baby mama, Ashabi Simple, and her siblings filed a complaint against him at a police station over alleged assault.
