The ongoing feud between veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie and Judy Austin, wife of actor Yul Edochie, has taken a dramatic turn.
Judy Austin recently filed a N1 billion lawsuit against her elder in-law over alleged defamation.
Reacting to the lawsuit, Rita Edochie acknowledged receiving the legal notice but claimed she does not recognise the person named in the suit, insisting that the only Mrs. Yul Edochie she knows is May Edochie.
She made this known in a post shared on her Instagram page.
She wrote; “I received a message from one Mrs. Judith Yul Edochie and up till now I am still wondering and utterly confused about who the bearer of that name is because I don’t know anyone by that name.”
“As a matter of fact, the only Mrs. Yul Edochie that know is queen May Yul Edochie. Wanting to be addressed by that name is very provocative right now which I take as a terrible slap on the face of the Edochies.”
