Veteran Nollywood actor, Ganiu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini, has urged Nigerians to have faith in President Bola Tinubu, insisting that the president did not assume office for financial gain, as he already has considerable wealth.
The actor, who reiterated his support for the president, defended Tinubu amid the ongoing crises facing the nation.
Speaking in a recent interview with Kunle Afod, Alapini said: “I can say that his plan is to make Nigeria better. Tinubu didn’t become president because of money or wealth—he already has them.”
“He’s a cheerful giver. We appointed him for a reason, and he’s already fulfilling that role and will do more.”
Alapini concluded with a message to Nigerians: “He who has ears, let him hear. And if you like, don’t hear—but Tinubu will fix this country.”
