The 28-year-old comedian lost his life in a ghastly car accident along the Oyo–Ogbomoso road in Ibadan on the morning of Monday, September 1, 2025.
Eyewitness accounts and circulating videos on social media reveal that the vehicle he was traveling in veered off a bridge and crashed into a ditch. Sanku and his friend, who was with him at the time, were rushed to the hospital but were later pronounced dead.
The tragic news has sparked an outpouring of grief on social media, with fans, friends, and colleagues mourning a bright star whose promising journey was cut short.
Sanku began his comedy journey in 2021 and quickly warmed his way into the hearts of many with his creativity, relatable skits, and infectious humor.
