The internet was recently thrown into a frenzy following rumours of the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie.
Shortly after the reports went viral, Edochie’s family released a statement debunking the claim, affirming that the legendary actor is alive and in good health.
In a fresh development, the family has reportedly contacted the Department of State Services (DSS), calling for the arrest of the individual responsible for spreading the false news.
Pete Edochie’s first son, Leo, disclosed this in a Facebook post on Thursday, where he shared a photo of the alleged culprit and wrote; “This young man posted a video on tiktok that our father is dead. His handle is @ONE_BOR 001.”
“Anyone with information that will lead to his arrest will be handsomely rewarded in cash. I have contacted DSS and they are on his trail.”
“DM me with the information, as soon as he is arrested, you will get your reward in cash.”
