The death of veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has left many Nigerians mourning following his battle with cancer.
Ogogo died on Sunday at the age of 66 after battling stage-four cancer.
However, shortly before his death, the actor and filmmaker reportedly urged his daughter, Kira Taiwo, and his other children not to cry over him.
His daughter revealed this on her Instagram page, where she shared messages exchanged between her and her father before his death.
In one of the messages, the actor wrote: “How are you? I heard you are crying. Seeing you and your sisters smile is making me strong. If you cry, it will make me sad, and I will start to think.”
The conversation reportedly took place on July 26.
