Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has revealed why she has become noticeably quieter on social media and less involved in public feuds, saying the arrival of her grandson has changed her perspective.
The actress, who has built a reputation for speaking her mind and fearlessly tackling controversial issues, disclosed during a recent interview that becoming a grandmother has influenced her decision to tone things down.
“I have piped down because of my grandson now. My daughter is married, so when I keep fighting, the opposite side is going to come up with different false allegations, and I don’t want her going through any stress,” she said.
Despite taking a step back from public confrontations, Iyabo stressed that she has not abandoned her outspoken nature.
“I have not completely stepped away from speaking out on issues I believe in. But if the need arises for me to speak up, then I will,” she added.
The actress also reflected on her journey as a single mother, describing it as one that has brought her happiness and fulfillment.
“It makes me feel good, happy, and fulfilled,” she said.
When asked how she has maintained her youthful and radiant appearance over the years, Iyabo gave a candid response that has since generated reactions online.
“Sex has a lot to do with a woman’s glow,” she said.
