These, look like trouble for Afrobeats star, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, as Nigerian celebrities are now against him for throwing shades at veteran music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy.
Others have also attacked the singer for equally shading his colleague, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido.
Some of the celebrities that have reacted on the matter include blogger, Tunde Ednut, singer, Perruzi; comedian and skit maker, Mr Macaroni; popular socialite and celebrity bar man, Cubana Chief Priest; Big Brother Naija stars, Tacha and Doyin; Davido’s Logistic Manager, Israel Afeare a.k.a Israel DMW, amongst others.

Tunde Ednut wrote; “All I know is that Davido will never disrespect Wizkid and I thank God Davido doesn’t even reply to some things anymore. Posting that was unnecessary. Anyways, it’s his time. He should enjoy. Ogun kee una Papa in advance if you insult me.”

Mr Macaroni wrote: “Donjazzy is perhaps the biggest Entertainment Influencer in Africa. And the beautiful thing is that his influence cuts across. From music, to contents, films, brands, etc.”
“However, we would all be hypocrites to say that the context in which he was called an influencer isn’t disrespectful to everything he has done and is still doing for the Nigerian Music Industry.”
“An absolute legend. He promotes Music Artistes even outside his record label. Gives free advice and visibility to up and coming artists, shows love to everyone irrespective of their status. I am also a beneficiary of his phenomenal influence!”

Cubana Chief Priest wrote; “Don Jazzy you’re forever respected. Godfather and Legend.”
Tacha, in a video via her X page said; “No Don Jazzy slander will be tolerated. Don Jazzy’s impacts on the entertainment industry can never be overemphasised.”
“If you have to take off Don Jazzy’s inputs on the industry, that would be you taking half of Afrobeats away. Because who would you be listening to? Don Jazzy has grown a lot of global superstars.”
“This is somebody that doesn’t restrict himself to the music industry alone. Don Jazzy is there for everybody regardless of their status.”
Her colleague, Doyin also wrote; “Don Jazzy is still the JayZ of the Nigerian music industry. If you try to disrespect him, it just shows your head is not correct. No be to dey chase clout, drop hit!”
On the other hand, Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel DMW, took to his Instagram story and lambasted Wizkid.
He wrote: “I use to like everything about you, thinking you’re a human being. I never knew you’re a fully daft headed human being.”
“Why dis continous jealousy and hatred? Did oga (Davido) stops you from releasing ur own back to back sweet hits?”
“He has never in anytime said anything bad of you at all. You just keep hating him for nothing sake. Retire from music if you’re fed up.”
“Resign honourably. Who the hell are you? You’re just a small dwarf. You will be taught a lesson, if you’re not careful.”
“You’re an idiot. A whole Don Baba? Na ur mate? Ugbeowagbon, Usaloa.”
