The race to Ekiti central senatorial constituency has started with many aspirants from every nooks and crannies of Ekiti central showing interest in the 2023 race.
Notably among these lots is a seasoned political gladiator, a grassroot mobilizer, a highly respected man of great repute,loved by both young and old within and outside his constituency. Dr. Femi Thomas, a man who knows and understands the politics of Ekiti and its environs inside out.
The Ikoro Ekiti in Ijero Local Government born Doctor is a compassionate surgeon who carries the interest of humanity in his heart at all times Dr. Thomas has been tested and trusted to deliver good and formidable representation to the people of Ekiti central and the state in general.
He has served the state in different capacities such as being commissioner for health and also as the Director-General National Health Insurance Scheme.
He was a consultant to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LUTH, also Associate Professor of Surgery at the prestigious University of Lagos.
The antecedents of this astute politician is part of the reasons people of his constituency especially the youths has called on him to come and represent them in Abuja come 2023.
“I am too busy at this period because I have a humongous project that will benefits my people as a grassroots person that I have embarked upon but when this clarion call came from me people I have to obey because without these people, who is Thomas,” he said.
