The controversy involving Nigerian music star, 2Face Idibia and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, has taken another dimension.
The singer has spoken publicly for the first time since news of their marital crisis began trending online.
In a brief message shared via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, 2Face wrote: “Help me.”
The post has sparked concern about the singer’s well-being amid the ongoing turmoil between him and his wife.
For those who don’t know, 2Face and Natasha on Monday left many in shock after an unexpected quarrel ensued during Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session.
Daddy Freeze had been speaking with 2Face’s former management team when the singer suddenly joined the Live stream. Moments later, tension erupted. In the background, 2Face could be heard asking Natasha, “What is your problem?”
The argument quickly escalated, with Natasha attempting to grab the phone in the heat of the exchange. The chaotic moment forced the live session to end abruptly.
The drama comes on the heels of another viral video that surfaced earlier, showing 2Face seemingly being arrested in the UK. In the video available online, police officers were seen speaking with the singer outside what looked like a retail store before escorting him away in handcuffs.
