Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, has confirmed that her one-year marriage has collapsed.
The reality star disclosed the development while officially announcing the end of her marriage.
Interestingly, only a few months after her wedding to her husband, David, she had unfollowed him on Instagram and deleted their wedding photos, actions that fueled rumours of a marital crisis.
At the time, she debunked the speculation, explaining: “I was trying to take my marriage off social media and reduce some of the things I put out there.”
However, on Wednesday, Queen finally confirmed her separation from her husband.
The confirmation came after she shared new photos of herself from actress Mercy Aigbe’s mother’s burial last week.
In the comment section, a fan, @makachrist, asked: “Queen, hope you are still married? Because asa, you are too beautiful to be single.”
Responding, she wrote: “Single and unavailable.”
