A popular monarch in Katsina State, Faruk Umar Faruk, 90, has married a 20year old lady.
Umar Faruk, who is the Emir of Daura married the young bride, Aisha Iro Maikano on Saturday, December 11th, 2021.
We gathered that the 90years old Emir of Daura had a brief courtship with Aisha before he married her in a low-key marriage ceremony in Katsina.
Sources squealed that the monarch paid N1 million dowry to the bride.
The bride, we also gathered is a daughter of a high ranking traditional title holder in Katsina.
Sources disclosed that the Emir has married not less than four young wives in the past few years.
An inside source divulged that the Emir divorced all his three wives to pick a new four set of wives.
