Medical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Benin City, Dr. Philip Ugbodaga, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as Governor of the Year 2025 by Leadership Newspaper and New Telegraph Newspaper.
In a congratulatory message published on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Dr. Ugbodaga joined the people of Delta State and other Nigerians in celebrating what he described as an unprecedented and nonpareil achievement.
He noted that the twin national awards were a testament to Governor Oborevwori’s undiluted commitment, diligence, and forthrightness in the selfless conduct of governance in Delta State.
Describing the recognition as both prodigious and sui generis, the medical director said the honours reflected the governor’s visionary and impactful leadership, which has driven transformative progress across various sectors of the state through his MORE Agenda.
According to him, Governor Oborevwori’s administration has inspired confidence within the governance ecosystem, engendering passion and empathy among stakeholders while fostering development that resonates beyond Delta State.
