These are challenging times for popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afod, and his wife, Desola, as rumours circulating on social media suggest that their marriage has hit the rocks.
Speculation about a possible split surfaced online over the weekend, with reports alleging that Desola has moved out of the actor’s house and is currently staying in a hotel.
Reacting to the viral claims, Kunle Afod took to his Instagram page to share a cryptic message. In his post, he stated that he has done his best and desires the best for himself moving forward.
He wrote: “Wanting the best for myself. God knows that I have really tried. But since we’re still alive, we keep striving.”
Interestingly, rumours of a marital crisis between the couple first emerged in 2022. At the time, Desola announced on her Instagram page that she was no longer with the actor. She wrote: “The good news you wanna hear: I left Kunle Afod.”
For those who don’t know, Afod and Desola have been married for about a decade. The union has produced four children.
