Renowned Nigerian actor and comedian, Okey Bakassi, has been crowned the traditional ruler of his hometown in Imo State.
The entertainer, whose real name is Okechukwu Onyegbule, was officially presented as the monarch of Umuihuocha Autonomous Community in Mbaise by his kinsmen.
With this new role, Okey Bakassi will now be formally addressed as His Royal Highness Eze Okechukwu Onyegbule, the Okwe II of Umuihuocha Obohia.
The actor shared the news in a video posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday. He wrote; “Special presentation as king (Eze) of Umuihuocha community.”
