Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, son of legendary actor, Pete Edochie, has lashed out at Rufai Oseni, a presenter with Arise Television, over his conduct toward his guests on live television programme.

Reacting to past controversies involving Oseni, Yul criticised the broadcaster’s approach, questioning his professionalism.
He said: “Is this not the same Rufai Oseni who was caught driving on the BRT lane? When officials stopped you, instead of apologising, you were shouting, ‘Do you know who I am? I’m going to call the governor of Lagos State.’ If not because someone recorded a video, you would not even have apologised. If there was no video, what would have happened?”
The actor also faulted the presenter for allegedly making his guest uncomfortable during the live broadcast.
“How can you invite somebody and make the guest uncomfortable? If a guest is not comfortable, the first thing you should do is apologise and make the person feel at ease. How can you tell a guest that if they are not comfortable, they are free to walk out of the studio?” he said.
Continuing his criticism, Yul added: “You are insulting people on national television. You’re a very disrespectful person. That is not journalism.”
He further urged respect for Nigeria’s leader, stating that Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the country’s President.
“Jagaban President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the President of Nigeria, whether you like it or not. He is our President and must be respected. The man just came in. Give him time. Rome was not built in a day,” he said.
