Nollywood star actress, Halima Abubakar is not happy with the organisers of the Eko Star Film & TV Awards held recently at the Ebony Life Place, Victoria Island, Lagos.
She took to her Instastories to express her dissatisfaction.
She wrote; “Clique and gossip will kill Nollywood I swear. Sentimental set of people, kill joy, I will continue to produce, for who don’t like it.”
“Am unproblematic, I give this people roles smh. Keep snubbing some of us una hear?”
“Acting all posh like are you serious? Shitting people. Everything is sentiment in Nollywood. Still I Stand.”
“Still can’t be pushed. No matter the evils and dog eat dog attitude. Still I stand like a river that never do dry. Do I thank you all.”
For those who don’t know, the Eko Star Film & TV Awards is put together by the Nigerian International Film Summit in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture & Tourism and EbonyLife Place.
The award is designed to honour talented female pioneers who call the shots in the growing Nigerian film industry.
