Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s wife, Judy Austin, has filed a N1 billion lawsuit against her older in-law, Rita Edochie, over alleged defamation.
Judy Austin disclosed the lawsuit on her Instagram page, where she shared a copy of the court document with the caption, “Enough is enough.”
According to the suit, Judy is demanding N1 billion in damages for alleged defamation. She is also seeking an order compelling Rita Edochie to publish a full and unreserved retraction and apology to her in at least two widely circulated national newspapers, as well as on all her social media platforms.
Judy is further asking the court to restrain Rita from publishing or circulating any further allegedly defamatory statements against her.
She is also demanding that Rita remove all allegedly defamatory statements about her from her online platforms.
