That Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda has not recovered from her crashed marriage to her former husband, Dejo Richards is a statement of fact.
Be that as it may, the radiant screen star has opened her book of lamentation, saying that the worse decision she ever made in her life was to marry her ex-husband.
However, she diclosed that she has since moved on with her life as she has allowed the past to remain in the past.
She said; “It only made me wiser. I didn’t kill anybody, I didn’t steal. I only thought I was making the right decision, but at the end of the day it was a mistake, but I moved on. I didn’t stuck in there sulking.”
“I moved on, worked on myself and love found me again. Then, I was naive and young. I met the wrong person at the right time.”
“I’m not there on the screens as I used to be. I am getting older and need to give room for the younger generation to take over.”
For those who don’t know, Monalisa got married to Dejo Richards in 2004 and divorced several years after. Their union produced a child. The actress is currently married to Victor Toney Coker whom she got married to in 2016.
