The sad and sudden news of the passing of Barr. Jesutega Onokpasa came to me as a rude, unexpected shock, which has left most of us who knew him well still dumbfounded and in great disbelief.
Barr. Jesutega was a very direct, passionate and spirited intellectual who literally wore his heart on his sleeves, especially when martialing his very robust opinions, either in personal conversations or on the big screens of national and internal networks.
He was bold and fearless, hard working, dedicated, loyal and committed to his unwavering political convictions, especially in his vibrant campaign and advocacy for the #RenewedHope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and his strong belief in the greatness of our dear Delta State and Nigeria.
But most of all he was a good man; a kind and selfless friend and confidante who you can rely on in need and in deed.
His sudden demise has left a huge vacuum and I pray that God Almighty will grant his immediate family and his loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
Rest in perfect peace my dearest friend and brother!
